Legal entities

The law on e-waste involves the informing of citizens and businesses on how to properly deal with waste, and establish better standards of environmental protection and recycling, while banning toxic substances and dealing with them correctly, as well as the proper labeling of equipment so it can be sorted separately from municipal waste.

The law was brought in 2013 and will enter into action from the 1st of January 2015, and it will require all entities to get rid of their waste in cooperation with the firms that are licensed to recycle e/e waste.
